Welcome

SO... WE FINALLY DID IT!  Friday, July 27th, 2012 was the big day and it was PERFECT.  We were so blessed to have immediate family present while we exchanged vows; and to make things even more special for us, Chad's brother-in-law "Roger" performed the ceremony and ultimately pronounced us husband and wife.

How It All Began

Chad and I knew of each other through our intertwined circle of friends but never actually had a real conversation until a couple of years later.  Our first official date was March 28th 2009, and it was "love at first date".  As it turns out, timing and circumstances were on our side...  He was exactly what I didn't even know I was missing!  We were engaged in August of 2009. (Oh ma gosh my ring is so pretty!) While dating over these past few years, our kids have grown quite accustomed to each other and we are so excited to officially be a family.

Now that we have tied the knot, we will reside together in our home, a quaint little place with a canal in the backyard and ducks that visit, looking for bread that Chad feeds them.  Every now and then, we even spot an alligator floating by in the canal or sunning on the bank.  Now that we think about it, it has been a while since we have seen a duck...    :-/

Our lifetime committment to each other took place on the evening of Friday, July 27th, 2012 during an intimate ceremony on the grounds of Bocage Plantation.

Among the many ways that we are opposites and keep each other balanced, our love of touring plantation homes is something that we share.  We have enjoyed many "date days" together, visiting and touring local plantation homes since we began dating.  For us, it was very significant to be married on the grounds of a local plantation home, and that is a very special memory that we will always cherish.

Being so extremely busy, unfortunately there was not time to break away for a traditional honeymoon right away.. But that's alright!  We hope to be able to get away for a belated honeymoon by our 1st Anniversary.  Not sure where yet!

Our reception will be fabulous!  Please join us and celebrate our new lives as Mr. and Mrs. Williams.  There will be dining, drinks, dancing, live entertainment, good times for all!

Thank you for viewing our wedding website and registry!  Feel free to click around and view our photo albums here.  We appreciate our dear friends and family so much, you have enriched our lives in a way that is unimaginable, and our journey would not have been the same without you.  We are so happy to be able to share our special day with you!

Much love,
