TJ and I met back in early December 2010 through mutual friends. I was out celebrating with my friends for passing my state EMT-B exam and my friends for passing their EMT-B class; he had come out to join them for the celebrations. Although we met that night, we sparcely spoke until mid January. He helped me get an EMT job at the company he had worked for, and we began hanging out. By mid February 2011, we had begun dating. In August, we adopted a 3 month old shih tzu puppy we named Gizmo. And the pieces in our life started to fall together. |
On a very very cold day, February 21, 2012, TJ and I decided we were going to take an overnight minivacation down to Atlantic City, just to try to destress and relax for a night. We went out, had a few drinks, dinner, gambled a little, and then I got tired, and wanted to head back to the room. After about an hour in the room, he convinced me to that we needed to go back out. After we walked around the casino floor for a little, we went out onto the boardwalk for a walk. I'm freezing trying to convince him that we need to go back inside, as he's dragging me out onto the beach (keep in mind, its like 9pm at this point). After we got halfway towards the water, TJ got down on one knee... "I love you. Will you marry me Sarah?"
and well, here we are now!!! |
Our big day will be October 5, 2013 at the Crystal Ballroom, located in the Radisson Hotel in Freehold, as an evening service. There are plenty of rooms on location for guests to stay. |
