Our Story

How Melanie and Matthew Met: Melanie used to work for the Music department at UNC Charlotte as an administrative assistant. Matthew was coming back to school to earn his Music Education degree in the department and the two struck up a friendship. After years of a casual friendship Matthew asked Melanie on a date. He gave her three options.


1.) Go out to eat somewhere nice.

2.) Go out to eat and listen to live music.

3.) Have Matthew cook dinner at Melanie's.



Melanie chose option three and the two have been together ever since.
