It is such a cliche' to say that on May 30th I will marry my best friend, but Ryan and I truly believe our friendship became the solid foundation of our relationship. Since we met in high school, we have maintained a friendship, through good times and bad. Ryan has the ability to make me laugh and smile when it seems like nothing will cheer me up. We both feel truly blessed to have found each other and are very excited to start a new life together. After dating for two years, Ryan proposed to me on September 13th, 2008. During a weekend getaway to St. Louis, Missouri, Ryan popped the question though I can't say I was surprised. I mean how many subtle hints do girls have to give to let a guy know they are ready to marry! :)
So now we are busy planning the most exciting day of our lives. My mother Angie and I have taken on the role of wedding coordinator and I must say the job can be relentless at times! I sure wish things were as easy as they seem in Father of the Bride. Unfortunately, mom and I couldn't convince dad that we needed a Frank (wedding coordinator) for our special day! Although he did offer to coordinate the wedding himself! We look forward to seeing old and new friends, along with family members, share in our celebration on May 30th.

The wedding ceremony will take place at Washington Park in Robinson, Illinois. Ryan and I have chosen to keep the ceremony intimate with only family. Each guest will receive an invitation dictating whether they are invited to the ceremony and reception or reception only. The majority of our guest will join us afterwards at the reception. Praying that the rain holds off, the gorgeous park setting should make for a beautiful, outside wedding!
The ceremony is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. central time. The reception will follow at the Quail Creek Country Club. In between the ceremony and reception, guests will be able to enjoy hor d'oeurves and drinks until the reception begins.

We have chosen to have our reception at the Quail Creek Country Club in Robinson, Illinois. The reception is set to begin around 6:30 p.m. central time. A sit down dinner will be served to guests with their choice of stuffed pork loin and roast beef. Each guest should receive an RSVP card with their dinner selection listed. Dinner, dancing, music, and good times are on the agenda for the reception! We are very excited to celebrate our first night together with friends and family. The country club does have rooms available for the night and we encourage everyone to stay and enjoy their evening without the hassle of driving home. If you would like to reserve a room please contact the Country Club at 618-544-8674.
We have decided to register our honeymoon, along with Macys and Target online. We are planning a five-day trip to Jamaica and have planned for many exciting excertions while we are there. The honeymoon registry is accessible from this website.

We are very excited to see everyone on May 30th! Please travel safe and let us know if you have any questions about the location, room reservations, details, etc. Feel free to email me at sarahlemond4@yahoo.com. See you soon!
