The Waikoloa Marriott Luau includes an open standard bar, buffet dinner and a show, and an imu ceremony and fire-knife dancer. The Sunset Luau at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott is the Big Island's most authentic luau and show. The sound of a conch shell will welcome us to an evening of delights, on a beautiful oceanfront setting at sunset. An array of delicious traditional dishes is offered at the lavish buffet. We will dine under a starlit Hawaiian sky while the exciting luau show takes us on a journey of music and dance through the islands of Polynesia.

Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden

This garden was a gift to the people of the world from Dan J. Lutkenhouse, a businessman from San Francisco. Currently, over 2,000 species of plants, including a large variety of orchids, heliconia, gingers, bromeliads, and palms, spread throughout the garden mixed with several natural waterfalls and a view of Onomea Bay. With the aid of the map provided by the garden, you will easily spend several hours ambling through the various sections of the garden. Every twist and turn leads to a new plant or tree. There is also a Bird Aviary which features parrots, macaws, and other tropical birds. Take the time to complete the loop out to the Bay Vista Point.

Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Plantation invites visitors to witness the growing, harvesting and processing of Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts into many Mauna Loa products. Hundreds of rows of macadamia nut trees line Macadamia Road on the 3 mile drive leading to the visitor center and processing plant. Visitors can view the plant where the nuts are husked and dried.
